We will retain a few details when a service request is made. The details are only the name and contact details to provide the best service to our customers.
When we are attending and supporting a person under investigation, some details are recorded in order to invoice the client. The details recorded are the name, date of birth, reference number and subject of investigation.
A data subject cannot be identified directly by Appropriate Adults UK without further information that only our client holds.
We also hold data on staff members names and times of attendance are retained by Appropriate Adults UK for invoicing the client and for a period of at least 6 years to comply with our legal financial obligations and legitimate interests.

Any person whom Appropriate Adults UK hold data upon may contact us through email or writing. We will have to be satisfied we’re providing information to the subject to whom it refers to, and may require proof of identification and relevance to the data held.
